We are always on the lookout for unique and high-quality items to share with our attendees at events. The recently opened Chocolade van Brugge (Chocolates from Bruges) in Scottsdale, Arizona delivers just that. Step into the store and you are immediately enchanted by the intoxicating scent of handmade Belgian chocolate. More than 60 kinds of chocolates fill the glass cases.
Frederiek Verbeke, a native of Bruges and not a stranger to chocolate, and his wife Christine, just recently opened the store. Verbeke grew up next to a chocolatier and started helping out wrapping the handmade candies when he was just four years old. His love of chocolate never left him as he worked in the corporate world. Earlier this year, Verbeke made a decision to retire early from corporate life and follow his dream of opening a chocolate store.
Chocolade van Brugge opened last week in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona and has a Web presence also for online orders. The masterfully crafted chocolates are shipped in fresh from Belgium, made especially for the store by his old chocolatier friend in his hometown of Bruges. And yes, we had the difficult task of having to taste the chocolate in order to write this article. As a Belgian chocolate snob -yes, I admit it- I must tell you that you will not be disappointed.
For events, the store offers anything from small gift boxes of 2 to 4 chocolate, gift bags ideal for hostess gifts, to custom chocolates and figurines. Small boxes and gift bags can be delivered with custom labels and ribbons. Custom and chocolates with logos require a four to six week turn around time since everything is handcrafted in Belgium. You can order the chocolates as a sweet after-dinner treat instead of the standard banquet fare for your fundraising galas also. And best of all, due to advancements in shipping, chocolates can be shipped anywhere, anytime.
For more information visit Chocolade van Brugge online or stop by at the store located at 4225 North Marshall Way in Scottsdale, AZ. Christine and Frederiek would love to welcome you and help you provide the best in Belgian chocolate for your events.
